What I'm up to right now
Based in: São Paulo, BR
For the past 4 years I've been working out of São Paulo through James (which I founded in 2016 to be my consulting alter-ego). Most of my work has been focused on helping global agencies execute the LatAm portions of global projects. I've been increasingly interested in interaction design, and writing. I'm passionate about learning to create a sustainable solo business, designing it around my life (rather than the other way around.
What else I've been up to:
- I've just started on a web dev bootcamp. While I'm not inclined in going in that direction professionally (at least not right now), I'm really keen on learning enough to be able to prototype some ideas
- Learning to write - yes, you read it right. For a long long time I've been very shy around my writing, which has contributed to me not writing at all. I'm starting to pick it up again slowly, thanks in part to this great post by Tom Critchlow called "small b blogging"
- I've been creating workshops and training sessions around various aspects of research and things I've learned over the last 10+ years. Curretly, all of those are in Portuguese
Other than that, I've been trying my best to do more of the stuff I love, be more around the people I love, and discover more things to love.
I'm always up for coffee and a chat, so drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
